The WDBJ7 announced the final arrangements for the Roanoke county cameraman
and photojournalist, Adam Ward who was shot and killed during a public
broadcasting. Adam worked as a photojournalist and cameraman for WDBJ7. He was
shot to death while operating his camera during a public broadcasting on Wednesday.
The WDBJ7 reporter Alison Parker, was also shot and killed at the same time.
The young man was a very passionate and hardworking guy and he always
enjoyed working for the network. The sudden loss of Adam shattered the hearts
of his family, friends and colleagues.
The family has announced the funeral arrangements for Adam Ward and the
ceremony will held at the Salem High School from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday. A
gathering is also to be performed at the auditorium.
A celebration of life event is also to be organized for the 27 year old guy
on the next day of funeral at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Roanoke. The
funeral arrangements of the fellow worker Alison Parker’s obituary has been
released and her funeral is yet to be announced.
The photojournalist along with the reporter Alison was shot to death by an
alleged shooter Vester Flanagan. After killing the journalists, he also
tried to shot and kill himself. He died in the hospital a short time after the
shooting.
